After reading some reviews on amazon about the Nikon D7100, I decided to just go for it and upgrade to the D7100. And boy am I glad I did. As many comments indicated, the pictures were ultra sharp. The coloring was very accurate as well. I could honestly tell any person that is thinking about buying this camera, that they will surely not regret it. One key thing with all cameras is to make sure you know what you are doing with the features/configuration. Surely a read through the owners manual will help. I had previously had a D7000 and I say the Nikon D7100 far surpasses in all aspects. The Nikon D7100 is better at portraits, landscapes, and even in low light conditions. While writing the review right now about the Nikon D7100, I have not used the video so I cannot say how that is. I am really enjoying the 1.3x crop the Nikon D7100 has and find it more useful than I anticipated. It is great especially for the extra length it provides with your lenses. Meaning an 18-200mm lens is about equal to 390mm while zooming. I did some testing and took 7 pictures in burst mode and it worked wonderfully. I am extremely amazed at the quality for the price of the Nikon D7100. If you have an older camera, this is a great upgrade!
